Copper manufacturer Hindustan Copper Ltd has said the unaudited financial results for the first quarter of 2009-10 would be delayed, and is likely to be published by August end because of technical problems in the newly installed software for enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
The firm had earlier announced, in a regular filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, to come out with the financial results by June 30.
The company's ERP system, currently in the stabilization phase,is facing initial system and transaction errors and bugs and is under review, the filing said.
The entire process of finalization of accounts and completion of statutory audit is likely to get extended to the end of July or first week of August'09, it said.
