Sonata Software, a Bangalore-based travel and outsourced services firm, has posted consolidated profit after tax increase of 27 per cent at Rs 19.90 crore at the end of its third reporting quarter ending December 2008. This is from the Rs 15.68 crore posted in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Net profit on a sequential basis dropped 8 per cent from Rs 21.63 crore posted in the September quarter.
