Multi Screen Media (MSM) has roped in Saurabh Yagnik, former SVP and business head, English channels cluster at STAR India, to head its English movie channel Sony PIX.
Yagnik will fill the position, which was vacated by Sunder Aaron, who left Pix earlier this year after being with the channels since its launch in 2006.
Interestingly, among other channels, Yagnik was also heading Star Movies for over two years. Meanwhile, at STAR, Rasika Tyagi, who was seniorVP of English programming is replacing Yagnik. MSM has major plans for PIX, which was started as a library channel earlier.
