South Indian Bank Q2 net zooms 383%

South Indian Bank today reported a 382.6% increase in net profit at Rs 41.65 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2006 when compared with Rs 8.63 crore in Q2FY06.

According to a release issued by the bank to the BSE today, total income increased by 39% to Rs 273.09 crore from Rs 196.27 crore in Q2FY06.
