The department of telecom today allocated GSM spectrum to new players in Kerala.

		</script> </DIV><p class='TableClas'>No additional spectrum has been allocated to any of the existing players in the state. At present there are four players operating in the state, Aditya Birla group company Idea Cellular, Vodafone Essar, Bharti Airtel and government owned, BSNL. </P>
</p><p class='TableClas'>Kerala currently constitutes of just over 4 per cent of the total all-India subscriber base with about 88 lakh GSM subscribers. </P></p><p class='TableClas'></p></table>
