Spencer plans to roll out hypermarket in Nashik

Spencer’s Retail, the major chain of retail outlets owned by the RPG Group, is planning to open a hypermarket in Nashik by the next fiscal year (2009-10).

Spencer has already opened three retail stores in Nashik, covering retail space of 2,500 to 3,000 sq ft each. These three stores are located at Tidke Colony, Indira Nagar and Trimurti Chowk areas of the city.

“We are planning to open new hypermarket in Nashik city by the end of FY 2009-10. The company has booked 40,000 sq ft area for the purpose in a large commercial complex, being constructed by Nashik-based Shraddha Land Developers & Builder at College Road area in the city. This proposed commercial complex will cover a built-up area of 1 lakh sq ft,” the sources told Business Standard.

 

This new proposed hypermarket in Nashik will offer various products from different categories including apparel, general merchandise, food, non-food, fruits and vegetables, electronic, furniture, books music and stationery, mobiles, health zone, crockery, dry fruits, watches and sunglasses, catering to every single household needs of a family.
