Budget carrier SpiceJet today announced another sale offer, sixth in a row since January, with all-inclusive fares as low as Rs 1,899 from select cities including Chandigarh, Guwahati, Jaipur and Lucknow.

This is along with benefits that include better timings and increased frequency.

Booking dates for the current three-day offer starts from today and for travel between July 1 and September 30, 2014, SpiceJet said in a release.

The offer provides various options to book tickets from Agartala, Bagdogra, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Dharamsala, Guwahati, Jaipur, Jammu, Lucknow, Srinagar, Udaipur, Varanasi on direct, via and connecting flights, it said.

"Based on the overwhelming response to the last campaign, we are glad to offer discounted fare offer as this proven to stimulate potential flyer to prefer air travel instead of any other mode of travel plus travel more often," SpiceJet Chief Commercial Officer Kaneswaran Avili said.

The airline's revamped network has better connectivity with cities across the country and as these offers are applicable on all direct as well as via and connecting flights, he said.

The Kalanithi Maran-promoted carrier has been on a promotional and discounted fares spree since January this year, when it reduced ticket prices by up to 50% immediately after the lean travel season set in January.

The move forced the other players including full-service airlines - Air India and Jet Airways - to follow suit.

SpiceJet's rupee one offer had attracted a mad rush of passengers with its website crashing within hours of the launch of the scheme. Aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation came down heavily on it, terming the rupee one offer as "predatory" and a "malpractice" and asking it to stop it immediately.
