It plans to use the money to expand to Delhi and Mumbai in the next two months.

Flipkart has acquired Appiterate, a Delhi-based mobile engagement and marketing automation company. Appiterate helps e-commerce companies combine the strengths of mobile apps and big data to allow them to do one-on-one targeting of their users through push notifications and in-app messages.

Travel Triangle raises $8 mn
Venture fund Bessemer Venture Partners is leading an $8-million financing round in Delhi-based Travel Triangle, according to a news report. Existing investor SAIF Partners also participated in the second round of fund-raise for Travel Triangle, an online marketplace which lets customers connect with multiple local travel agents, get quotations, customise their trips and make bookings through the site.
