SREI Infrastructure Finance has bagged NHAI/annuity road projects on build-operate-transfer (BOT) basis worth more than Rs 3000 crore.

According to an official release issued to the BSE today, these BOT road construction projects will be completed over the next 18-36 months. SREI, in partnership with several leading construction companies throughout India, will complete the projects.

"We have been involved in the infrastructure sector for a long time and we have been supporting the roads, transportation, power, ports and mining sectors specifically. With our various debt /equity/quasi-equity instruments, we are now able to take larger stake in the projects directly. Our partnership with our customers also gets further strengthened. Moving forward, we would increase our full services to the infrastructure projects resulting in higher yield in our investments, besides the fee-based income that we would generate on advisory," Hemant Kanoria, vice chairman & MD of SREI Infra, said.
