Srei Infrastructure Finance announced a partnership with Indian School of Business (ISB) to carry forward an industry-academia association, aimed at building future leaders to meet the real time challenges and opportunities of the infrastructure industry in India.  As a part of this collaboration, Srei has sponsored a student run professional club at ISB, known as the 'Srei Infrastructure Club' and extended its guidance and mentorship to the club on several of their activities while also helping them connect with a broader group of infrastructure experts across the country.

"The partnership will enthuse the young ISB students to take an active interest in the real life issues faced by the sector. This will not only enhance synergies between the students and the sector, but will also help in building resourceful human capital for the industry by attracting future leaders into the sector," said Hemant Kanoria, Chairman and Managing Director, Srei Infrastructure Finance.

Through this association with Srei, the students at ISB also benefit from Srei’s ongoing projects in the road, telecom, aviation, rural infrastructure and power sector to gain hands on exposure to real problem solving. Srei has offered access to the club members to its strategic brainstorming sessions, so that students get a chance to exhibit their fresh perspective on various government policies and public-private partnership models pertaining to infrastructure.
