Srei Infra Q4 net up 52% at Rs 20 cr

Total income rose 7.5% to Rs 818 cr

Viom deal to help Srei Infra's metrics

Kolkata-based Srei Infrastructure Finance has posted a consolidated profit of Rs 20.54 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016, against Rs 13.47 crore during the corresponding quarter in FY15, showing a rise of nearly 52 per cent.

Total disbursements during the quarter stood at Rs 3,993 crore, against Rs Rs 3,089 crore in the quarter ended March 2015, showing a rise of 29.26 per cent.

“Our company has completed the Viom transaction successfully and received the entire amount of Rs 2,931crore. The company has exited the telecom tower business with good valuations due to intrinsic strength and deep knowledge. Going forward, we will unlock more such value creation opportunities,” said Hemant Kanoria, chairman and managing director, Srei Infrastructure Finance.
 

Total income of the company in the March quarter was Rs 818.64 crore, against Rs 761.22 crore in the corresponding period in FY15, a rise of 7.54 per cent.
