Srei Infrastructure Finance has emerged as the highest bidder to acquire 57.17 per cent stake in DPSC from Andrew Yule, LIC and United India Insurance Company. Andrew Yule and its subsisdiaries hold 15.20 per cent in DPSC while LIC and United India Insurance own 30.61 per cent and 11.36 per cent respectively.
Calcutta High Court has directed the sellers to transfer their shares in DPSC in favour of the Srei led consortium and buyers to make the payments accordingly.
