SRF Ltd today said its net profit jumped over five-fold to Rs 110.65 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2010, over the same period last year.
Total income rose to Rs 680.91 crore for the quarter ended March 31, from Rs 411.04 crore in the same period last year, SRF Ltd said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
For the year ended March 31, the company has posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 324.44 crore, a jump of two-fold over the same year-ago period.
The board has also approved to invest Rs 142.6 crore for the enhancement of capacity of coated fabric by 170 lakh sq m per annum at textile business, in Tamilnadu, the filing added.
