SRS Group earmarks Rs 50 cr for its jewellery retail

SRS group, a conglomerate having interests in real estate, multiplex cinemas, retail and food & beverages, has plans to strengthen its branded jewellery retailing business.

This is being done as a part of an exercise to catch on with the Diwali shopping rush. The group, under the brand SRS Jewels, is investing Rs 50 crore by the end of 2010 to open five stores in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Palwal and Ghaziabad.

Anil Jindal, chairman & managing director, SRS Group, said, “Due to consistent demand from our customers, we have added a new range of products including various forms of jewellery such as Kundan, Polki, Bengali and Hyderabadi designs."
