Shree Shubham Logistics Limited (SSLL), a part of Kalpataru Group, is planning to invest Rs 600 crore for setting up a chain of global standards agri logistics parks at 41 locations across the country.

In the first phase, SSLL is developing 11 agri logistics parks, of which seven are in Rajasthan and four in Gujarat, with an investment of around Rs 150 crore.      S

SLL whole-time Director Shubhendra Kumar Bafna said that the company has already set up four such parks at Unjha in Gujarat and Merta, Ganga Nagar and Bikaner in Rajasthan. "These parks would provide logistics solutions to the farming and trading community for preventing wastage and consequent loss of food products.

On arrival, the produce will be cleaned, graded, processed and packaged. "There will also be weighing and testing facilities at the park. We would also set up parks at Jodhpur, Alwar, Kota, Ramganj Mandi, Deesa and Rajkot in the first phase," he said.

The park would also provide benefits like realization of optimum marketable value, sustaining the quality and quantity to maintain the value of the produce, single window integrated services, short-term finance for produce, testing and certification for ascertaining quality of produce among others.
