Media major Star India has appointed J C Giri as its executive vice-president and General Manager of its regional channels.

</p><p class='TableClas'>Star India CEO Uday Shankar said that Giri would take charge of Star's planned portfolio of regional channels in Bengali, Marathi and Gujarati.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </P>
</p><p class='TableClas'>"He would take charge of our planned portfolio of regional channels and would be responsible for timely launch of these channels," he said.</P></p><p class='TableClas'></p></table>
