Steel Strips bags Rs 120cr overseas contracts

Steel Strips Wheels has signed contracts worth Rs 120 crores with PSA PEUGEOT CITROEN, Europe for supplying 2.25 million Steel Wheel Rims.

According to a release issued by Steel Strips Wheels to the BSE, the orders has to be despatched to their plants in Spain and France for their car models namely; Berlingo Citroen and 407. The order is to be executed over a period of three years beginning calendar year 2006.

The company further stated that during FY04-05, it has sold 3.55 million of wheel rims and total turnover was Rs 146.10 crores.
