Auto ancillary company Steel Strips Wheels Ltd (SSWL) today said it has bagged a contract from Turkey-based Turk Traktor for supplying tractor wheel rims.
The company has been selected as a supplier of tractor wheel rims and the initial order is for 4,000 wheel rims to be developed for one of their tractor models, SSWL said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The company, however, has not given financial details of the contract.
Turk Tractor, a joint venture of KOc Holding and CNH Global NV, is the largest manufacturer of tractors in Turkey having about 55 per cent domestic market share.
Shares of SSWL were trading at Rs 148.75 on BSE, up 5.53 per cent from its previous close.
