Auto ancillary company Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL) today said it will supply high tech steer wheel rims to French car maker Renault for one of its upcoming vehicles to be launched in early 2011.
The supply of component will help the Indian manufacturer to generate foreign exchange up to 4.7 million euros (about Rs 29 crore).
"SSWL is likely to start supply of the said High Tech Steel Wheels to Renault from last quarter 2010 and expected to supply 0.30 million wheels over five years period generating foreign exchange to the extent of nearly Euro 4.7 million," the company said in a filing to the BSE.
