Sterling to set up two more hospitals in Gujarat

Sterling hospitals, chain of corporate hospitals, is planning to invest Rs 200 crore by 2012 for its projects in Bhavnagar and Surat.

Owned and managed by Sterling AddLife India Ltd, the hospital launched a state-of-the-art hospital in Rajkot on Wednesday, markings its entry into the Saurashtra region.

"We plan to open a hospital in Bhavnagar and also examine operational and management contracts to build an asset light model with a mix of greenfield and brownfield projects under the management, for which the company is planning to invest Rs 200 crore by 2012. We are focused on Gujarat projects and do not plan to move out as yet," said Rajiv Sharma, Chief Executive Officer, Sterling Addlife India Limited.
