Bhartiya Vitta Salahkar Samiti (BVSS), a voluntary body of chartered accountants, cost accountants, company secretaries and allied professionals, has come out with a report on corporate social responsibility (CSR). The report, released by media baron Subhash Chandra, shows public sector undertakings have increased their CSR spending by 48 per cent in 2015-16, compared to the previous year, while the private sector raised it by a mere 5 per cent.
