Drug firm Strides Arcolab today said its consolidated net profit rose by 4.54% to Rs 45.08 crore for the first quarter ended March 31, 2011, vis-a-vis the same period last fiscal.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 43.12 crore for the same period of the previous fiscal, Strides Arcolab said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange(BSE).
Total income of the company rose to Rs 497.31 crore for the first quarter ended March 31, 2011, compared to Rs 381.52 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Shares of Strides Arcolab were being quoted at Rs 395.40 apiece in late afternoon trade on the BSE today, down 0.34% from their previous close.
