Drug firm Strides Arcolab today said its net profit rose by 84.42 per cent to Rs 40.74 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2010, over the same period previous fiscal.
The company had a net profit of Rs 22.09 crore in the same period last fiscal, Strides Arcolab said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The company's total income rose to Rs 430.41 crore for the September quarter, compared to Rs 319.15 crore in the same period last fiscal.
For the nine months ended September 30, the company posted a net profit of Rs 133.76 crore, compared to Rs 76.61 crore in the same period previous fiscal.
Total income of the company for the nine months ended September 30, stood at Rs 1,295.66 crore, compared to Rs 921.77 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Shares of Strides Arcolab were today trading at Rs 429.10 on the BSE in late afternoon trade, down 3.92 per cent from its previous close.
