Dr Reddy's Laboratories has said that operations at its Srikakulam manufacturing unit in Andhra Pradesh have been restored after contract-based workers called off a strike.
The workers had went on to a strike for various demands since August 12.
It may be recalled that production was hit at the unit after the number of contract workers was scaled down to about 85.
In between, the contract workers disregarded a wage agreement finalised on November 8 and have continued their strike.
The unit, which manufactures active pharmaceutical ingredients, has about 700 employees on its rolls besides about 300-350 contract workers.
During morning trade, the company's stock was trading 0.3% up at Rs 1,560 on Bombay Stock Exchange.
