Subrat Ratho, a former bureaucrat, has assumed charge as managing director of Jindal Synfuels and head of operation of Angul plant of Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL), the company said in a release today. Ratho, a 1986 batch IAS officer, took voluntary retirement from Indian Administrative Service in 2012 to join JSPL.
The company with several mega projects in Odisha like the 6 MTPA integrated steel plant and Coal to Liquid project near Angul, is expected to greatly benefit from experience of Ratho, who has over 26 years successful track record in service. His areas of experience and interest include project planning and management, stake-holder management, leadership development, etc.
