Drug sales in the US helped drug major Sun Pharmaceutical post a 135 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 512.70 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 as compared to Rs 218.50 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2007.
Consolidated total income increased by 79 per cent from Rs 672.8 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 to Rs 1201.3 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2008.
