Sun Pharma's Q3 net up 26%

Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries has reported a 26% rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 109.95 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2004 as compared to Rs 87.53 crore in the same period last fiscal.

According to a release issued to the BSE, the total income has increased 27% from Rs 277.37 crore in Q3-03 to Rs 352.66 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004.

The company has posted a 15% jump in net profit to Rs 80.72 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 as compared to Rs 70.46 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2003. Total income has increased from Rs 270.50 crore in Q3-03 to Rs 352.69 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004.
