Sundaram Finance to sell its 49% stake in BNP Paribas Sundaram Global Securities

Sundaram Finance Ltd (SFL) is planning to sell its 49% stake in BNP Paribas Sundaram Global Securities Operations Private Limited. SFL's Board to meet on Tuesday to consider the proposal.

Sundaram Finance's officials were not available for comment immediately.

The company has called for the Board of Directors meeting on August 4, 2015 for considering sale of 49% stake held in BNP Paribas Sundaram Global Securities Operations Private Limited, company informed BSE.

BNP Paribas Sundaram Global Securities Operations Private Limited provides securities services and investment operations solutions to financial intermediaries, institutional investors in Asia Pacific region.

The company offers treasury, cash management, foreign exchange, collateral management, and securities lending solutions.

 

The company was incorporated in 2008 and is based in Chennai.

BNP Paribas Sundaram Global Securities Operations Private Limited operates as a subsidiary of BNP Paribas Securities Services S.C.A.
