Sunil B Singhania, chief investment officer – equities at Reliance Capital Asset Management has been elected to the Board of Governors of the CFA Institute.
He is the first Indian to get elected to the 18-member board which is the highest governing body in the institute, said a release from the company.
Singhania has a total of 21 years of experience, of which he has spent the last decade working with Reliance Capital Asset Management.

The CFA Institute is global, nonprofit organisation of investment professionals from over 100 countries.
The board of governors represents 11 countries - Australia, Canada, China, India, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and United States. Each governor is elected by the CFA Institute membership for a three-year term that runs from 1 September to 31 August.
