Supreme Industries Q3 net up 38.67% at Rs 75.83 crore

The company, which follows July-June financial year, reported a 19.40% rise in total income during the quarter at Rs 917.68 crore compared to Rs 768.55 crore in the year-ago period

Plastic products manufacturer Supreme Industries today posted a 38.67% jump in net profit for the third quarter ended March 31 at Rs 75.83 crore against Rs 54.68 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The company, which follows July-June financial year, reported a 19.40% rise in total income during the quarter at Rs 917.68 crore compared to Rs 768.55 crore in the year-ago period.

"During the current year, the company envisages annual growth in volume and product value of about 16% and 23%, respectively over the previous year," a statement issued here said.

The company further said new product range of bath fittings, which it plans to launch is in final stage of readiness, is likely to be in market by end of the April-June quarter.
 

"Augmenting of additional capacities, automation and installation of balancing equipments at existing locations in various product segments are progressing as per schedule," the release said.

Supreme Industries offers a wide and comprehensive range of plastic products and operates in various segments including plastics piping systems, protective packaging products, industrial components, material handling systems and cross laminated polyethylene films.
