Suryachakra plans 1,200 MW project in Orissa

Suryachakra Power Corporation is in talks with the government of Orissa for setting up a 1,200 MW thermal power project in the state.

According to a release issued by Suryachakra to the BSE today, the company, in the first phase, will install 300 MW capacity at an estimated cost of about $300 million.

"The company has entered into an MoU with Desein Pvt Ltd, New Delhi, for technical consultancy, supervision and execution of the project," the release added.
