Suryachakra to set up 270Mw power plant

Hyderabad-based independent power producer, Suryachakra Power Corporation, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chattisgarh state electricity board on February 1, 2008.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, the MoU envisages setting up of a 270Mw thermal power project in the state with a proposed investment of around Rs 1,100 crore.
