Suryajyoti to add 25,000 spindles

Suryajyoti Spinning Mills Ltd has informed that the company is all set to add 25,000 spindles at an investment of Rs 45 crore. This Phase I expansion will take the overall capacity of Suryajyoti's production facilities in Andhra Pradesh to about 90,000 spindles.

The company will set up a new unit in the district of Mahabubnagar in Andhra Pradesh for which land has been finalised and orders for imported machinery placed. The unit will start the commercial production in the second half of the year 2006.

Further, the company has informed that it is working on the feasibility of setting up a fully integrated state-of-the-art weaving, processing and garmenting unit with total investment outlay of Rs 150 crore in Phase II.
