The students of Advertising and Journalism at Amity School of Communication were recently conferred post graduate diplomas by union minister of information and broadcasting Sushma Swaraj at a convocation ceremony held at the campus.
Swaraj urged the aspiring journalists to be unbiased in reporting and stick to facts without fabricating them.
She also emphasised that the students must have knowledge of a third language apart from Hindi and English. Drawing a line between aggressive and abrasive interviews, she said that the best interviews happen when the interviewee is put at ease and not on an offensive.
