Sutherland opens 3rd facility in TN

 Sutherland is a leading customer management company in the BPO space has opened its third centre within 2 years of the launch of its Indian Operations.

 The new 100,000 square foot facility in Chennai will accommodate 1500 people and is expected to become operational in December 2003.

 This new facility will support the needs of existing US-based clients who require offshore support along with new clients recently acquired by the company.

 Sutherland India has grown to a 1,500-strong employees company in 18 months. The company has plans to now double its employee base to 3,000 in the next 3-6 months.

 Sutherland India manages two existing offshore delivery centres in Chenni. The company has a strong offshore base of eight marquee clients, including leaders in the global PC market, telecommunications and software products for U.S. business accounting and consumer tax preparation.
