Suzlon bags 19.2 MW order from Baidyanath Group

Suzlon Energy secured a repeat order from Baidyanath group's Siddhayu Ayurvedic Research Foundation. Suzlon will set up, operate and maintain a 19.2 megawatt (MW) project to be installed in Dhule and Satara districts of Maharashtra. The project has four units of Suzlon’s S82 (1.5 MW) and seven units of S88 (2.1 MW) wind turbine generators.

The project will be set up in two phases and shall be completed by March 2011. The group plans to register the product with United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) under the clean development mechanism (CDM).

This second order from Siddhayu Ayurvedic will increase Suzlon's wind portfolio to 26.7 MW.
