Suzlon's arm bags orders from Italy, Portugal

Suzlon Energy today said its Denmark-based wholly owned subsidiary has bagged orders from Italy and Portugal for supplying 29 wind turbines.

The company's Denmark arm has secured an order for supplying 10 units of 2.1 MW turbines to Italy-based Maestrale Green Energy, Suzlon informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

An order from Portugal-based Tecneira - Tecnologias Energeticas has also been bagged by Suzlon's subsidiary, for 19 units of the 2.1 MW wind turbines, it said.

However, the company did not mention the financial details of the orders.
