Suzlon signs 105 MW deal with Edison

Suzlon Energy has signed 105 MW deal with Edison Mission Group for 50 units of Suzlon's S88-2.1 MW wind turbines, the delivery of which is expected to begin in mid 2007.

According to a release issued by Suzlon to the BSE today, the company's subsidiary Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation, USA has signed the agreement.

'With signing of these orders, the company has a current consolidated order book position of Rs 4587 crore, with Rs 3787 crore in international orders and Rs 800 crore in domestic orders.', the release added.
