Suzuki Motorcycle sales up 13% in May

The company's total sales stood at 28,455 units in the corresponding month of the previous year

Suzuki Motorcycle India (SMIL) today reported a 13 per cent growth in total sales at 32,117 units for May 2014.

The company's total sales stood at 28,455 units in the corresponding month of the previous year.

Commenting on the sales numbers, SMIL Executive Vice President Atul Gupta said the company has received a good response from the market for all its products.

"The growing customer satisfaction has led to positive word-of-mouth in the market. Building on the existing goodwill in the market, we expect that the four products launched at the Auto Expo - Gixxer, Let's, V Strom and Inazuma will also show good performance in the upcoming fiscal," he added.
