Syngenta FY04 net up 31%

Syngenta India has reported a 31% increase in net profit at Rs 72.27 crore for the year ended December 31, 2004 when compared with Rs 55.29 crore in FY03.

According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 584 crore from Rs 426.02 crore in FY03.

The board has recommended a dividend of 100% i.e Rs 5 per equity share of Rs 5 each for FY04 as against a dividend of Rs 2 per share in FY03.
