Systime Computer Corporation, a 100 per cent subsidiary of the 30-year-old CMS group, is aiming to touch a turnover of $100 million (around Rs 450 crore) over the next three years. |
The company plans to add 1,000 people over the same period and is ramping up its Pune and Chennai operations by setting up offshore delivery centres. |
"We have the resources and the business model in place. While the current line of business is growing at 40 per cent y-o-y, the infrastructure management area, which the company plans to venture into, is expected to grow at 10 per cent y-o-y," says Vishal Grover, president & CEO, Systime. |
Systime is banking on the good base its parent company has been enjoying. CMS is a global business solutions provider that employs over 8,000 professionals the world over. |
"Around 80 per cent of our CMS revenues come from India. A large part of our incomes come from the Indian mid-market. We have got companies like Chowghule Mining, Greaves Cotton, Bajaj Electricals and JD Chemicals. We have over 70 clients and most of them have implemented Oracle," said Grover. |
But Systime is also carving a niche for itself. The company claims that Oracle-JD Edwards is its largest partner. "We have 450 out of our current 800 employees dedicated to this task." |
This month, Systime was named Oracle JD Edwards Partner of the Year at Oracle OpenWorld in the US. Interestingly, Systime partners both with SAP and Oracle for larger projects. |
"It's a business necessity," explains Grover, adding "These are the top two players in ERP and other enterprise applications, and they are going to continue to be there for a long time. Most of our manufacturing customers are on Oracle, whereas SAP has a better presence in our BFSI and government customers." |
