The talks between officials of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd and representatives of eight workers' unions held on Wednesday failed to cut any ice. The negotiations were held to resolve the logjam over the incident of firing by Central Industrial Security Forces jawans at the company's oil refinery site at Paradip. Union leaders have now warned to intensify their stir on Thursday and paralyze the construction work of the refinery. CISF authorities, police officials and officials of the district administration skipped the meeting.
