With the peak season for the film industry in Tamil Nadu just around the corner, various stakeholders fear that the ongoing crisis stemmed from the strike announced by film producers and exhibitors may hit the industry badly. Industry experts feel that the strike would deliver a body blow to the Rs 300 million in daily gross turnover that the industry generates from cinema halls in Tamil Nadu.
