Tanla Solutions' net profit soars 88%

Tanla Solutions, a Hyderabad-based provider of telecommunication software and services, reported an increase of 87.84 per cent in its net profit to Rs 43.26 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007, compared with Rs 23.03 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Total income touched Rs 124.03 crore, against Rs 56.74 crore, registering a growth of 118.59 per cent.

NIIT bottom line rises to Rs 14 cr

NIIT, a talent development company, reported a growth of 30 per cent profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter ended December 31, 2007, to touch Rs 13.9 crore compared with Rs 10.7 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year. For this quarter, the company earned the revenues of Rs 238.8 crore from Rs 225.1 crore.

Nucleus Software net up 11.41%

Nucleus Software Exports, a leading global software powerhouse providing innovative and pioneering products and software solutions since 1986, reported an increase of 11.41 per in profit after tax (PAT) figure for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007, to touch Rs 15.53 crore compared with Rs 13.94 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Its consolidated revenues stood at Rs 73.63 crore, an increas of 31.06 per cent compared with Rs 56.18 crore posted in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

CalSoft records Rs 4.3 cr profit

California Software Company (Calsoft) today announced its net profit of Rs 4.30 crore during the quarter ended December 31, 2007, from Rs 2 lakh posted in the corresponding quarter a year earlier.

Rupee appreciation against the dollar impacted profits by about Rs 1.33 crore during the quarter. Its consolidated net sales touched Rs 55.55 crore, reflecting 30.2 per cent year-on-year basis a growth of Rs 42.67 crore posted in the previous financial year.
