Tantia Const bags Rs178cr Bihar road orders

Tantia Constructions has bagged new orders worth Rs 178.29 crore for road infrastructure projects in Bihar.

According to an official release issued by the company today, the projects were awarded by the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) for work in Bihar's Rohtas, Lakhisarai and Jamui districts.

While the project value for construction and development of highways in Rohtas was pegged at Rs 113.45 crore, the order for work in Jamui and Lakshisarai was pegged at Rs 64.84 crore.

The scope of work would include state highway construction and up-gradation. The roads would eventually be linked to the National Highway 2 between Delhi and Kolkata.

Tantia Constructions has orders worth about Rs 1,200 crore in hand, of which the ongoing projects in Bihar are worth Rs 400 crore.

Siddhartha Tantia, VP (corporate planning), Tantia Constructions, said: "We won these projects from our existing clients - it reflects the confidence they have in us. We hope to execute them successfully in keeping with our high standards of technical expertise."
