Tata Advanced Material signs MoU with Strongfield Technologies

Will jointly explore potential business co-operation areas in various segments of the Pilotless Target Aircraft activities

Tata Advanced Material (TAML) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Strongfield Technologies (STL) on the sidelines of Aero India 2013.

Under the terms of the MoU, TAML and UK-based STL will jointly explore potential business co-operation areas in various segments of the Pilotless Target Aircraft activities as well as other aerospace and defence activities.

STL intends to involve India's defence industry with the offset requirements of the government's acquisition program, Pilotless Target Aircraft.

TAML is engaged in the design, manufacture and supply of composite products for aerospace, armour, defense ,transportation and infrastructure sectors.

STL is a manufacturer and supplier of high-tech components and equipment for Defence and Space applications and provides engineering, design and consultancy support.
