Tata Engineering expects to register a 9-10 per cent growth in CV sales this year.
The company sold 85,000 commercial vehicles last year, while total industry sales stood at 1.30 lakh.
Ravi Kant, executive director, commercial vehicle business, who launched the Tata 207 DI here today, said the industry should clock a 7-8 per cent growth.

In the first four months of the fiscal, the company posted a 45 per cent growth in commercial vehicles, while the industry figure stood at 37 per cent.
On increasing prices in the coming months, Kant said following a surge in inputs costs, pressure is beginning to develop and adequate protection has to be given at an appropriate time.
