| The board of directors of Tata Finance will meet on January 10, 2005 to consider a proposal for merger of the company with Tata Motors. This was announced in a release issued to the BSE today. The board of Tata Motors will also meet on January 10, 2005 to consider the merger of Tata Finance with the company. The meeting will also consider the merger of its two subsidiary companies - Telco Dadajee Dhackjee and Suryodaya Capital & Finance (Bombay). |
