Tata launches range of crop nutrients

Tata Chemicals Ltd today announced the launch of the 'Tata Paras' range of crop nutrients including urea, di-ammonium phosphate, NPK ,and single super phosphate .
 
Amalgamating the range of nutrients under the Paras brands and post-acquisition of Hind Lever Fertilisers units, the launch was announced by Prasad Menon, Managing Director, Tata Chemicals Limited while addressing the press in Chandigarh.
 
According to Menon ,the brand proposition was to help farmers reap consistent golden harvests year after year through balanced use of quality crop nutrients. " 'Tata Paras' embodies our promise of delivering the most appropriate crop nutrient solutions to the Indian farmer," he said.
 
Highlighting on the need of providing different type of fertilisers for different crop and soil Kapil Mehan, COO-Fertlizers Business, Tata Chemicals Limited informed that Urea and DAP were being sold in the Punjab and Haryana market and the company was planning to bring in Muriate of Potash (MOP) and Single Super Phosphate (SSP) by the next Rabi season.
 
Speaking on the company's initiative of setting 'Tata Kisan Sansar,' where all the technical and other inputs for the farmers were avaialable Mehan said, "Out of 500 outlets across India , 230 outlets are in Punjab and Haryana and we plan to add in 70 more in the region , in the next three years." Also Mehan added that the first Tata Kisan Sansar in Himachal pradesh will be operational in the next six months.
