Tata Steel's wholly-owned arm Tata Metaliks today reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 18.34 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009, over the same period last year.
The company had a net profit of Rs 20.21 crore in the same quarter last year, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The total income declined to Rs 185.14 crore in the latest quarter, against Rs 320.24 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal.
Shares of Tata Metaliks closed at Rs 88.70 on the BSE, down 4.06 per cent from previous close.
